It is important to recognize that every learner has different learning needs. Learning in a physical classroom is appealing to learner A while learning in digital or video mode is appealing to learner B.

Consequently, every learner’s needs must be met. By combining both forms of learning, hybrid learning is the most effective learning approach. Presently, hybrid learning is mostly accepted by Indian parents.

As a result, students have the opportunity to learn in a hybrid environment that combines all types of learning that will enhance their ability to adapt to learning ultimately broadening their thinking and promoting creative exploration.

Here are some simple practices to create a profound hybrid learning experience to meet the needs of the learner:

  • Engage the learner in the learning process: You can broaden the horizon of young minds by providing them with eclectic ways of learning such as PowerPoint presentations, webinars, smart classrooms, videos, face-to-face teaching, etc. This way learners will enjoy learning and come out of the old school teaching methods.learning process

  • Train in a variety of ways: You can mix and match various forms of learning modules and offer the best combination to your learners. For mix and match example, classroom teaching, online learning, mobile learning, social and informal learning, etc.

We provide a Penta learning module that ultimately makes students learning abilities propagate to a higher level of understanding. Our penta mode of learning method is a top-notch learning module that amplifies guaranteed great results in our students.

  • Make learning more personal: Learning can be tailored according to the interests and inclinations of different learners through our hybrid learning approach. Inpersonal learning this program, doubt sessions, monthly tests, WATs (weekly assessment tests), etc., are implemented as part of a personalized approach designed to fully maximize the potential of the learning opportunity.
  • Engagement of learners is essential: With hybrid learning, you can shake things up and present learning in multiple ways, thereby increasing learner engagement through curated content, microlearning, social learning, etc.learner engagement

  • Implement a hybrid learning process by leveraging an LMS: A learning management system (LMS) allows learnersLMS to learn efficiently, effectively, and engagingly in both an online and offline environment.

At ESPA Learn, we are committed to spreading the aforementioned schooling system and transforming society through quality and sustainable education.

In 2030, what will learning look like? In recent years, we have lived and learned differently. In today’s world, education is more critical and uncertain than ever before. The global community has demonstrated incredible energy, commitment, and flexibility over the past few months to respond to the need to move to remote learning.

Although the reopening of schools and colleges has been welcomed by the government, schools, universities, and to a large extent, students as the world learn to live with uncertainty. Is it possible for schools and colleges to revert to the way they were before the pandemic?

As a result of challenges like equity, access, and capacity, most leaders agree that distance learning is not capable of preparing the next generation of learners for life. Conversely, uninterrupted on-campus learning has its challenges, especially the inability to expose students and staff to new and developing concepts. Globally, educators are examining how best to meet on-campus and connect with students remotely as they reimagine education.

In contrast, they are exploring different educational models to meet the needs of their students, like partial re-opening that allows students who lack access to devices on campus to return, synchronous and separated classrooms where some students attend in-person while others participate remotely, and rotational attendance.

In light of all these successful models, a new, learner-centered style of learning has emerged that empowers students to succeed and allows education to continue despite the global health crisis, weather, transportation limitations, etc. Introducing hybrid learning, a new model for future-ready education that blends remote learning’s safety, flexibility, and independence with campus collaboration and connection. In this dynamic time, hybrid learning will not only be available in multimodal and interactive formats but also provide learners with enough agility to thrive, as well as thoughtfully designed infrastructure to support active student engagement.

It helps learners and learning take center stage in the hybrid environment, as it is both human-led and technology-powered at the same time.

A hybrid environment can provide quality learning, but what does it look like?

Students need to be “life-ready” rather than just “work-ready.” The hybrid learning model allows institutes to create an environment conducive to the multifaceted growth of future generations. Several factors contribute to this model’s efficiency, including data security, personalized engagement, collaboration, skill development, and tailored courses.

Students receive personalized feedback in real time in hybrid classrooms because they have access to tools that allow educators to design lesson plans that are tailored to their individual needs. Technology allows teachers to reallocate 20 to 30 percent of their time to student-centric activities such as building deeper relationships with students

What do we do?

ESPA LEARN employs traditional Indian educational practices and updated technology to realize the greatest potential of the children who come to this planet as a gift from the Almighty, further making humanity more vibrant and prosperous. An opportunity for your loved ones, an e-learning platform, and traditional learning where students attend lectures of their choice, view lectures from their favorite tutors, and access updated content by offering topics/courses without having to time limit.

We utilize this framework to provide services to all the schools across the nation. The end result is the ability to offer our system based process that guaranteed results in students by implementing and updating conventional educational ecosystem with timely tested SP Smart Hybrid Schooling System (also SP Smart Schooling System)

How It works?

The Process:

hybrid learning model

Hybrid learning approach is designed to combine the best of face-to-face and virtual learning. It isn’t just on campus and it isn’t just online: it’s both. Students’ weekly agendas include on-campus and online classroom activities, allowing them to take advantage of in-person experiences on campus and the latest technology. Our hybrid approach also provides a smart and flexible response to the current world health situation.

STEP 1: IN CAMPUS CLASSES

Our on-campus hybrid methodology blends cutting-edge on-campus and virtual learning methodologies to provide a holistic learning experience for our students

STEP 2: ONLINE HOMEWORK CLASSES

Online homework classes boost students’ performance as each student is monitored by a teacher who is guiding throughout the class and makes sure that the homework has been completed with ease.

STEP 3: ONLINE DOUBT CLASSES

Our online doubt classes aid students to clear all their doubts regarding all subjects and helps them to clarify difficult concepts. Teachers make sure that all students doubts are cleared and none of the students are left unanswered.

STEP 4: IN-CAMPUS EVALUATION

Our on-campus evaluation uses methods and measures to judge student learning and understanding of the material for purposes of grading and reporting. Evaluation is feedback from the instructor to the student about the student’s learning.

Is this a solution?

Yes, many educators believe that a new hybrid model of education will emerge, with significant benefits. As the integration of information technology with education accelerates, online education will eventually become an integral component of school education. A student, under the Hybrid Model of education, will be able to get education from home or school (Physical presence), finish assignments and post them, and carry out learning in a self-paced manner. Students can be called to classrooms on a rotation basis for discussions, clarifications of doubts, group assignments, and assessments. For those who do have access to the right technology, there is evidence that learning online can be more effective in several ways

Digitalization came into the spotlight right after the outbreak of the mishap invoked by the covid-19 pandemic. Every business leaned toward the virtual world; however, before the pandemic, businesses were steadily marking their footprints in the online world and online schooling was out of the system. After the outburst of covid-19, the pan-industry shifted from physical to digital and the education sector was compelled to go digital.

covid

At the forefront of this wave of change was the education sector, led by a host of edtech apps both new and established. Until the advent of the digital revolution, the Indian education sector was stagnant. The pioneers of edtech transformed online learning into a viable alternative to traditional methods. Even with these advancements, brick-and-mortar learning establishments continued to dominate the space; however, the sudden advent of Covid made this impossible.

digital learning

Edtech & online combination

Throughout the pandemic, online learning and the edtech space played a critical role in ensuring the education of millions across the world. It was a huge year for online learning platforms, as both students and professionals looked to upskill and expand their skill sets. The world is now recovering from the recession, with offices reopening and students returning to physical classrooms, and edtech firms have to re-adapt to the new demand.

hybrid learning

Implementation of Hybrid Learning

In order to maintain its relevance and traction under shifting circumstances, edtech must now focus on the convergence of online and offline learning. We are now in the era of hybrid learning, in which both online and offline aspects play an equally imperative role in attracting and retaining students/learners. The prospect of an entirely online education no longer appeals after two years of self-isolation and confinement at home. Businesses are pivoting their business models to include physical education as part of their online offerings. The physical presence of a professor, one-on-one interactions, and the ideas sparked by one-on-one discussions are essential. Edtech companies need to quickly reinvent themselves in order to compete in the new online landscape.

Indian teachers, students, and parents witnessed a new learning landscape in the aftermath of the pandemic. In the last two years, technology adoption has led to not only reshaping and redefining education for students but also makeshift how educators teach. India is poised to emerge with hybrid learning models as classroom begins to reopen. Technology-enhanced solutions are gaining traction in the country.

technology growing

Digital learning can indeed be powerful and convenient, but traditional classroom education still provides invaluable benefits. A hands-on approach is still the best way to learn some skills and knowledge points. As a result, today’s higher education institutions need to adopt the hybrid learning model to combine the benefits of both worlds. Continue reading to learn more about this cutting-edge teaching strategy and how it can enhance your learning process.

digital technology evolving

Hybrid learning is the new normal

Since there is a burning desire for a hybrid learning model across the nation who wants to opt for a technology-based learning experience even after the classrooms reopen, It is imperative to tell that the hybrid approach has become inevitably the driving force in the education sector today.

To put it in simpler words, hybrid learning is a module that coalesces different elements (online/offline) to present a top-notch environment for learners. In addition, this method widens the learning experience and assists in curating training activities that complement each other and create a sustainable and effective learning environment.

online learning

Albeit it is a new learning process in India, online learning gained immense popularity during the pandemic that compelled pedagogues to integrate digital technologies teaching on a quotidian basis. Although the merits of in-campus learning and in-person learning shall continue to exist; however, a hybrid learning environment will blend the essence of freedom of remote learning into the experience thus enabling students to prepare better with digital technologies. This is the extensive metamorphosis in recent times that has changed the meaning of education in India.

Hybrid Learning Model

Moreover, our client SP Smart School has adopted our innovatively curated hybrid learning module named SP Smart Hybrid Schooling System in a very systematic and getting incredible results in their students, both academically and in personal development.

Hybrid learning has become the hot talk of the nation since Prime Minister Mr. Narendra Modi addressed in the high-level meeting to review the National Education Policy. “Our education system has a great role in preparing the youth who are possessed with skill and ability and have the spirit to do something for the country. Today the country also has a new National Education Policy to meet the needs of the 21st century,” the prime minister said.

education policy

He implemented NEP with the 4 core objectives mentioned below:

  1. Accessibility
  2. Equity
  3. Inclusivity
  4. Quality

As a result, he stressed the importance of balancing technology and developing hybrid systems combining online and offline capabilities. The government has proposed a hybrid model wherein a student is exposed to both online and offline learning thus pushing up the learning system by giving students robust practical exposure to learning. Introducing this new reform policy to education will give schools a great opportunity to upgrade their learning systems and allow children to build amazing futures through massive learning opportunities.

Benefits of our Hybrid Learning Module for Students

student studying

Successful hybrid classrooms facilitate engagement between students in the classroom and students at home, creating a more equitable learning environment for remote students that were previously unavailable.

  1. Self–paced learning: With self-paced learning, students get an adequate amount of time to learn at their own pace; moreover, students can manage their time in other fun activities thus making students less pressurized regarding their studies.
  2. Better engagement: Students get to learn in various other methods, therefore, making teaching less monotonous. With hybrid learning, students get an opportunity to interact with their teachers on a one-on-one basis which eventually creates a personalized learning environment.
  3. Instant feedback: Online platforms access students’ work data enabling them to provide instant feedback that will help them to record their work status and let them know if they’re on the right track or not.
  4. Deeper Learning: Many traditional classes go into tremendous depth, but there’s a catch: students are either in it or they aren’t. They may miss a significant amount of content if they miss a class, are sick or exhausted, or otherwise are unable to pay attention. This can’t happen with hybrid learning because students will always have online access to lecture materials, assignment explanations, and other critical course components.
  5.  More job-ready: With various techniques and processes included in hybrid learning, students are made ready for vast exposure and this helps them to prepare well for the real world.

Furthermore, hybrid learning encourages collaborations among students, offering intensive solutions through student-to-student learning.

And there are numerous benefits of hybrid learning and with that intention in mind SP smart hybrid schooling system has been coupled with exceptional academics and balanced mental health as mental health should be prioritized.

Benefits of our Hybrid Learning Module for Teachers

teacher teaching

If equipped with adequate hybrid teaching resources, a curriculum, and support from their school (SP Smart School), 98 % are in favor of hybrid learning. Teachers now have more information on their students because of hybrid learning. A case study from the school found that hybrid learning-enabled teachers more easily identify whether a student was struggling in class.

As well as teachers report that hybrid learning allows them to provide alternate learning methods, such as a recorded lecture for self-paced review, or providing study materials that encourage students to speak in public, they also report that they can better hold students accountable with hybrid learning methods.

In addition to providing more data and individualized information about students, hybrid learning helps teachers by:

  • Improving the parent/caregiver-teacher relationship with a better understanding of students’ home lives and where they need support.
  • Teachers— learn more about setting up and managing a hybrid or blended class environment with this guide to teaching in a hybrid classroom.
Road map ahead….

A growing number of educators and students are embracing hybrid learning today. Additionally, students need to be engaged in both formats, so classroom experiences must be elevated. An effective hybrid approach allows learners to adjust the learning process to their individual needs and support continuous informal learning that goes beyond fixed class times and spaces.

hybrid learning

With the implementation of the SP Smart Hybrid Schooling System and its hybrid education approach, students are empowered to succeed and education continues despite a global health crisis, extreme weather conditions, and transportation constraints.

SP Smart Hybrid learning, like it or not, is here to stay. The traditional educational system is changing, and we need to adapt. There are no longer any physical obstacles in the way of a learner’s progress. One thing is certain: hybrid learning allows you to make your own decisions. You can direct your experience toward your objectives. The best part is that you can do it wherever, whenever, and however you want.

On a whole, our hybrid model is a proactive hybrid system designed for students to excel in their careers by providing a systematic, result-oriented module so that they get an ample amount of time to self-study and we claim to give around 1500+ hours of self-study thereby inhibiting students from going to coaching classes or tuition.

If your school doesn’t have this system yet then are you really studying in the right school?

Online learning offers students the chance to figure from the comfort of their living rooms. The expansion of online learning school rooms & attending categories nearly has solely developed throughout this new time — one of the most impacts of COVID-19 for students in schools and faculties around the world.

You must be excited to remain in your comfy clothes, play whenever you wish to, and stay on the point of the family. However, as students still registered in classes that are still meeting online, you’ll need to indicate up and tell your pedagogues that you simply are present, paying attention, and participating. There are some definite do’s & don’ts for kids within the virtual classroom. Here are some suggestions on the way to be the most effective online student you’ll be.

Given that E-learning is the current means of learning and teaching, we’ve put up a list of basic do’s and don’ts to assist you throughout online lessons.

The do’s for online learning

  1. Be punctual, log in on time

Attending online classes is indispensable just like going to class in person. You’ll need to log into whatever platform your educator is using. Make sure your computer is charged and ready to appear on the screen. Being late is unacceptable, particularly when you are in online classes. Moreover, get dressed in your school uniform as it keeps laziness at bay.

be on time

2) Test your tech

Glitches in your technology suggest that you may miss some of your teacher’s lecture. Check that the camera is stable and that your audio or microphone works. Use appropriate headphones to ensure that you can hear everyone. Plug in your computer and double-check that it is required ahead of time.

3)      Embrace being flexible

It’s probably no secret that online learning holds a lot of appeals — you set your own schedule, you can work from home, and so on. Being adaptable is essential for success as an online learner. You must efficiently manage your time, allowing adequate time and space in your day to log in

4) Get organized

Sit at your study table with all your essentials, so that you don’t have to move around during the session to search for books or stationeries.

5) Take notes when something is being said

Take Notes

6) List all your questions while the lecture is going on and raise them at the end of the session or when the teacher asks the class to do so

7) Ensure you read through the course materials and subject notes and prepare yourself before class.

8) Follow all rules in the same way as you would in a classroom scenario.

The dont’s for online learning:

  1. Multi-task for unrelated purposes, for example, texting a friend your friend, watching TV, or playing music in the back.

When online classes are paired with physical sessions, a new learning paradigm known as hybrid schooling emerges, in which students split their time between a standard classroom and a homeschool. It blends the advantages of both physical and virtual classrooms, giving students a win-win situation.

Previously, classrooms simply referred to the actual rooms in a school. This definition altered after the pandemic. Virtual learning environments are now included in schools. Continue reading to learn the distinctions between real and virtual classrooms.

  • What is a physical classroom?

Physical classrooms provide teachers and students with a face-to-face interactive environment. In a physical classroom, there are many materials and equipment such as projection screens, blackboards, seats, and desks. For students, the components of a physical classroom make a compelling experience. However, books and classes alone are insufficient to keep learners engaged. Other factors, such as teachers’ attitudes and, notably, peers, have a significant impact in determining students’ classroom interests.

classroom

Generally speaking, traditional class teaching is antiquated, and there has been precocious technological development over years. With advances in mobiles and IT technologies, students need to get exposed to such technologies to stay updated on the course because the virtual world is proliferating. Moreover, the students lack free time for their self-study and other activities. Hence, online learning is imperative.

  • Online learning

Students learn in a fully virtual setting when they participate in online learning. Online learning (also known as e-learning) was first introduced in the 1990s with the creation of the internet and was used in distance learning. It allows students from all over the world to connect with academic institutions and other students online and learn at their own pace while working toward a degree or certificate.

online classes

The emergence of virtual learning has hindered the education system. Schooling has traditionally happened in person, which has had limitations for individuals unable to attend. So, the most obvious benefit of offering learning opportunities online is that you open education up to many more people.

A New Paradigm for Teaching and Learning Online learning

A pedagogical change in how we teach and learn is being catalyzed by online learning. A change is occurring away from top-down lectures and passive students toward a more interactive, collaborative approach in which students and teachers co-create the learning process. The function of the Instructor is modified from “sage on the stage” to “the guide on the side.”

Merits of Online Teaching and Learning: Why online distance learning and why now?

Online distance learning meets the needs of an ever-growing population of students who cannot or prefer not to participate in traditional classroom settings. These learners include those unable to attend traditional classes, who cannot find a particular class at their chosen institution, who live in remote locations, who work full-time and can only study at or after work, and those who simply prefer to learn independently.

The minimum requirement for students to participate in an online course is access to a computer, the Internet, and the motivation to succeed in a non-traditional classroom. Online courses provide an excellent method of course delivery unbound by time or location allowing for accessibility to instruction at any time from anywhere.

Learners find the online environment a convenient way to fit education into their busy lives. The ability to access a course from any computer with Internet access, 24 hours a day, seven days a week is a tremendous incentive for many of today’s students.

Some of the main advantages of online learning within the hybrid schooling system include

• Convenience: 24/7 access from any online computer; accommodates busy schedules; no commuting.

 • Enhanced Learning: Research shows an increased depth of understanding and retention of course content; more meaningful discussions; emphasis on writing skills, technology skills, and life skills like time management, independence, and self-discipline.

• Leveling of the Playing Field: Students can take more time to think and reflect before communicating; shy students tend to thrive online; anonymity of the online environment.

• Interaction: Increased student-to-teacher and student-to-student interaction and discussion; a more student-centered learning environment; less passive listening and more active learning; a greater sense of connectedness, and synergy.

• Innovative Teaching: Student-centered approaches; increased variety and creativity of learning activities; address different learning styles; changes and improvements can translate to on-ground courses as well

• Improved Administration: Time to examine student work more thoroughly; ability to document and record online interactions; ability to manage to grade online.

Everyone has their own “style” for collecting and organizing information into useful knowledge, and the online environment can be particularly well suited to some learning styles and personality needs. For example, introverted students often find it easier to communicate via computer-mediated communication than in face-to-face situations. In addition, the online environment lends itself to a less hierarchical approach to instruction, which meets the learning needs of people who do not approach new information in a systematic or linear fashion. Online learning environments are used to their highest potential for collaborative learning when they complement many students’ learning styles. Independent learners also find online courses to be well suited to their needs.

Because learners have different learning styles or a combination of styles, online educators should design activities that address multiple modes of learning in order to improve the likelihood of successful experiences for each class participant. In designing online courses, utilize multiple instructional strategies

However, with the aforementioned, the physical environment influence online learning. In past, discussions revolved around interactions between learner and content, other learners, teachers, or facilitators. Until recently, little attention has been paid to one type of interaction: between learner and physical environment.

The physical environment plays a paramount role in students’ online learning. Learners studying online must feel the good vibes to focus well instead of the environment that has disturbance and distractions.

happy student

ESPA Learn Pvt LTD has started a startup that is My Learn Coffee wherein a student can get access to the internet and which allows a learner to sink into the calm atmosphere to study along with enjoying a cup of coffee and palatable snacks. Furthermore, our client SP Smart School is thriving with incredible results in its students after they implemented our hybrid system in their schools. Thus, we provide the best physical environment and online education system for a student to boost their academic performance.
